Centre at Ensana Aquahouse Hotel Develops New Anti-stress Programmes

The spa centre at Ensana Aquahouse Hotel, located in the Sts. Constantine and Helena resort near Varna on the Black Sea, is expanding its anti-stress offerings, according to spa manager Nikolay Popov. These services are primarily utilized by working professionals seeking mental recuperation, with the new programmes specifically designed to mitigate chronic stress levels.

Popov noted that the increasingly fast pace of modern life contributes to accumulated mental tension. He explained that when the mind is overtaxed coupled with a lack of physical activity, it can predispose the body to degenerative processes. The need for such care is visible across demographics; even young individuals entering their careers seek anti-stress therapies due to the pressure of a competitive environment.

The centre tailors its services with an individual approach, ensuring benefits continue after a guest’s stay. Mineral water is highlighted for its ability to reduce tension by signaling relaxation to the central nervous system, which consequently lowers heart rate and blood pressure. Furthermore, since late 2025, Ensana Aquahouse has introduced a specialized underwater kinesiotherapy programme.

This service aims to restore physical function for individuals recovering from surgery, joint replacement, or those managing neurodegenerative conditions. A certified kinesiotherapist guides and supports the necessary movements. BTA features news from over 200 certified spa, wellness, and medical spa centres across Bulgaria in its “BG SPA: Salus per aquam, Health Through Water” segment.

This initiative is connected to the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, scheduled for May 11–13, 2026, in Varna, which will be the main focus of BTA’s media coverage.
