Centre at Ensana Aquahouse Hotel Develops New Anti-stress Programmes

The spa facility at Ensana Aquahouse Hotel, located in the Sts. Constantine and Helena resort near Varna, is expanding its offerings with new anti-stress programmes. According to spa manager Nikolay Popov, these services primarily cater to working individuals seeking mental recovery by targeting chronic stress levels.

He noted that the increasingly fast pace of modern life contributes to mental tension, and when the mind is overloaded without adequate physical activity, it can lead to degenerative bodily processes. The centre appeals to all age groups, including young professionals who seek therapies to manage the pressure of competitive environments. The programmes are designed with an individualized approach to ensure continued benefit after a guest’s stay.

Mineral water, for example, is utilized to reduce tension by signaling relaxation to the central nervous system, which helps slow the heart rate and decrease blood pressure. Furthermore, since the end of 2025, the facility has introduced specialized underwater kinesitherapy. This service aims to restore physical function for individuals recovering from surgery, joint replacement, or those managing neurodegenerative conditions.

During these sessions, a kinesiotherapist actively guides and supports the patient’s movements. In broader industry news, BTA highlights its coverage of over 200 certified spa, wellness, and medical spa centres across Bulgaria. This initiative is linked to Europe’s major health tourism event, the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, scheduled for May 11–13, 2026, in several Bulgarian locations.

The spa programmes continue to address the growing global need for stress management and physical rehabilitation.
