Dimyat Hotel Varna Welcomes Guests with Fully Renovated Thermal Zone

Rosslyn Dimyat Hotel Varna has reopened its renovated thermal zone, according to the hotel’s manager, Vanya Atanasova, speaking with BTA. The upgrade included replacements of the flooring, air conditioning, and ventilation systems, along with general enhancements to all facilities. Atanasova noted a significant increase in demand for wellness services since the pandemic, observing that interest is growing among Bulgarian residents, not just foreign visitors.

In response to increased local interest, the centre has extended its operating hours to begin at 7 a.m. Furthermore, water aerobics classes, instructed by a professional, have resumed, with the initial sessions starting at 7:30 a.m. Many local residents are utilizing these services before their workday begins.

The hotel’s saunas and fitness areas continue to draw consistent patronage, and the relaxation area and adventure showers are also frequently used by guests. Atanasova pointed out that the growing awareness of personal health is driving the interest in preventive care and wellness treatments. She added that business travelers are increasingly utilizing spa services, particularly when they are integrated into the accommodation rate.

The centre also features an ice fountain, whose upkeep has become more difficult due to reduced flake ice generator production. BTA highlighted the broader industry context, mentioning its “BG SPA: Salus per aquam, Health Through Water” feature, which covers over 200 certified SPA, wellness, and medical SPA centres across Bulgaria. This initiative is connected to the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, a major European health tourism event scheduled for May 11 to 13, 2026, in Varna, Sts.

Constantine and Helena, Golden Sands, and Albena, with BTA serving as the main media partner.
