Rosslyn Dimyat Hotel Varna has reopened its renovated thermal zone, according to the hotel’s manager, Vanya Atanasova, speaking to BTA. The facility has undergone comprehensive upgrades, including replacements of the flooring, air conditioning, and ventilation systems, enhancing all available amenities for guests. Atanasova noted a significant rise in demand for wellness services since the pandemic, a trend now observed among Bulgarian residents as well as international visitors.
Reflecting this increased interest, the centre has extended its opening hours to begin at 7 a.m. Furthermore, due to high local demand, instructor-led water aerobics classes have resumed, with the initial sessions starting at 7:30 a.m., drawing many local residents before their workday. The hotel’s saunas and fitness facilities continue to attract consistent numbers of guests, while the relaxation area and adventure showers remain popular.
The centre also features an ice fountain, though its maintenance has presented challenges recently due to limited flake ice generator production. Atanasova highlighted a growing public awareness regarding the importance of preventative health, which fuels the interest in wellness treatments. Business travelers, in particular, have increased their utilization of spa services, especially when these amenities are included in their hotel stay.
BTA also reported on its feature, “BG SPA: Salus per aquam, Health Through Water,” which showcases over 200 certified SPA, wellness, and medical SPA centres across Bulgaria. This initiative is connected to the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, a major health tourism event scheduled for May 11–13, 2026, in Varna, Sts. Constantine and Helena, Golden Sands, and Albena.
