The Rosslyn Dimyat Hotel Varna has reopened its renovated thermal zone, according to the hotel’s manager, Vanya Atanasova. Atanasova confirmed that the facility underwent comprehensive upgrades, including the replacement of flooring, air conditioning, and ventilation systems across all amenities. The center has noted a significant rise in demand for wellness services, a trend observed since the pandemic.
This interest is increasingly evident among Bulgarian residents, moving beyond just international visitors. To accommodate local patrons seeking relaxation before or after work, the opening hours have been extended to begin at 7 a.m. Furthermore, water aerobics classes have resumed at 7:30 a.m., attracting numerous local attendees.
Other amenities, such as the saunas and fitness facilities, continue to draw a steady stream of guests. The relaxation area and adventure showers are also frequently utilized. Atanasova attributed the heightened interest in preventive care and wellness to a growing public awareness of overall health.
She also noted that business travelers are increasingly incorporating spa services into their stays. In a broader context, BTA is currently featuring an overview of over 200 certified SPA, wellness, and medical SPA centers throughout Bulgaria. This initiative is connected to the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, a major health tourism event scheduled for May 11–13, 2026, in Varna and surrounding areas.
