Bulgaria and Vazrazhdane Lead Vote Count in Moldova Based on 92.70% of Tally Sheets

In the parliamentary elections held in Moldova on April 19, the results for the Bulgarian community were reported based on 92.70% of the processed tally sheets. According to the data, Progressive Bulgaria secured the highest number of votes cast by Bulgarian citizens. The political landscape reflected strong support for the top two parties.

Progressive Bulgaria garnered 344 votes, representing 37.43% of the total votes counted. Closely following was Vazrazhdane, which received 327 votes, accounting for 35.58% of the ballots. Other groups also received support, with Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria placing third with 62 votes (6.75%).

Further results showed GERB-UDF obtaining 49 votes (5.33%), followed by Velichie with 45 votes (4.9%). Smaller shares of the votes went to There Is Such a People (31 votes, 3.37%) and BSP – United Left (20 votes, 2.18%). The voting process spanned ten distinct sections across Moldova, including locations such as Chisinau, Taraclia, and Tvardita.

In total, 1,015 Bulgarian citizens cast their votes in these sections. The vote counts provide a detailed snapshot of the political preferences among the Bulgarian diaspora in Moldova during this election cycle.
