Bansko Aparthotel SPA & Relax Wins Two Retreat Tourism Awards in April

Lucky Bansko Aparthotel SPA & Relax recently received two awards for 2026 in the category of retreat tourism, according to the resort. The accolades were presented at the Spring Travel Soare forum, an event organized by Travel & LifeStyle Magazine with support from the Tourism Ministry. The awards recognized the property by placing it among the top 50 best retreat destinations and awarding it first place for the best retreat destination in Bulgaria for 2026.

The spa centre at Lucky Bansko Aparthotel SPA & Relax is designed to offer a holistic recovery experience with a personalized approach to guests. The complex’s executive director, Assoc. Prof.

Asya Pandzherova, detailed the detox programmes, which incorporate treatments such as hydro-massage baths with therapeutic extracts, hammam rituals, Rasul therapies using mineral mud and clay, and water bed applications with healing ingredients. The facility features a comprehensive water zone, including bio-pools with underwater music, a Dead Sea salt pool, a jacuzzi, and hydro-massage amenities. For the summer season, two outdoor pools are available for both children and adults.

The thermal zone offers a Finnish and infrared sauna, a steam bath, and a salt room for halotherapy. Additionally, the spa provides a cryosauna, which subjects the body to temperatures as low as minus 160°C to stimulate recovery and boost vitality. The resort’s offerings include hydrocolon therapy administered by medical specialists, alongside various facial and body treatments ranging from aromatherapy to anti-aging programmes.

A key focus is the weight loss, detox, and anti-stress programme. The spa centre is cited as a core competitive advantage, ensuring a comprehensive wellness experience at the Bansko location.
