During the session, Minister Iliev reviewed the readiness of all participating parties, stressing that robust inter-institutional coordination is crucial for the successful staging of the major sporting event.
He acknowledged the commitment shown by all personnel, stating that while hosting an event of this magnitude presents a significant challenge, the combined efforts of all institutions ensure confident progress toward the competition. Attendees confirmed that preparations are proceeding according to the established schedule, with necessary measures being implemented concerning security, logistics, and overall operational organization. Discussions also focused on implementing comprehensive safety protocols for both participants and spectators, ensuring the optimal conduct of the entire giro.
The race itinerary is set to begin in Nessebar, situated on the Black Sea, on May 8. The route will subsequently pass through Burgas, Veliko Tarnovo, and Plovdiv, culminating in Sofia on May 10.
