The spa centre at Ensana Aquahouse Hotel, located in the Sts. Constantine and Helena resort near Varna on the Black Sea, is expanding its anti-stress offerings. Spa manager Nikolay Popov reported that the new programmes are primarily designed for working individuals seeking mental recovery to reduce chronic stress levels.
Popov noted that the fast pace of modern life contributes to accumulated mental tension. He explained that when the mind is overloaded alongside physical inactivity, it can predispose individuals to degenerative bodily processes. He observed that young people are increasingly recognizing these risks and actively seeking recovery methods.
The centre’s services appeal to all age groups; even early-career professionals seek anti-stress therapies due to the pressure of competitive environments. The spa’s programmes utilize an individualized approach, ensuring that benefits can continue after a guest’s stay. Mineral water is highlighted for its tension-reducing properties, which signal relaxation to the central nervous system, thereby slowing heart rates and lowering blood pressure.
Furthermore, since late 2025, Ensana Aquahouse has introduced specialized underwater kinesiotherapy programmes. These are intended for individuals recovering from surgery, joint replacement, or those managing neurodegenerative conditions or temporary mobility loss. A kinesiotherapist guides and assists the movements during these sessions.
