The spa centre at Ensana Aquahouse Hotel, located in the Sts. Constantine and Helena resort near Varna on the Black Sea, has introduced new anti-stress programmes. According to spa manager Nikolay Popov, these services primarily address the need for mental recovery among working professionals, aiming specifically to reduce chronic stress levels.
Popov noted that the increasingly fast pace of modern life often leads to accumulated mental tension and potential physical strain when coupled with a lack of activity. The spa centre’s services appeal to individuals across all age groups. Even young professionals seeking to establish themselves in competitive environments utilize the anti-stress therapies.
The facility emphasizes an individual approach to its programmes, ensuring guests can continue their wellness routines after their stay concludes. Mineral water is highlighted for its ability to reduce tension by signaling relaxation to the central nervous system, which consequently lowers heart rate and blood pressure. Furthermore, since the end of 2025, the hotel has offered underwater kinesiotherapy programmes.
This specialized offering is designed to restore physical function for individuals recovering from surgery, joint replacement, or managing neurodegenerative conditions. A kinesiotherapist guides and assists patients through targeted movements. In a broader industry context, BTA features news from over 200 certified spa, wellness, and medical spa centres in Bulgaria through its “BG SPA: Salus per aquam, Health Through Water” feature.
This initiative is connected to the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, scheduled for May 11–13, 2026, in Varna, Golden Sands, and Albena.
