Her itinerary also includes a visit to the 131st Peyo Yavorov Primary School in Yerevan, which focuses on Bulgarian folklore. The following day, Monday, May 4, the focus shifts to regional infrastructure and energy security.
President Iotova will participate in a high-level event discussing the impact of the Vertical Gas Corridor, a strategic initiative designed to diversify natural gas supplies for nations in Southeastern, Eastern, and Central Europe. Within the broader scope of the European summit, Iotova will also address the “European Coalition Against Drugs,” where her remarks will emphasize European transport and energy connectivity. Additionally, on the sidelines of the political forum, the head of state is scheduled to meet with Greek President Konstantinos Tasoulas.
