In the parliamentary elections held in Moldova on April 19, Progressive Bulgaria and Vazrazhdane secured the highest number of votes among Bulgarian citizens, according to preliminary data processed from 92.70% of the section election commissions. Progressive Bulgaria emerged as the leading party, receiving 344 votes, which accounted for 37.43% of the total ballots cast. Vazrazhdane followed closely, garnering 327 votes, representing 35.58% of the total.
The results indicate significant support for these two parties among the electorate. The election saw a total of 1,015 votes cast across ten designated voting sections in Moldova. These polling stations were established in various locations, including Chisinau, Taraclia, Varnita, Vulcanesti, Cairaclia, Cahul, Comrat, Corten, Tvardita, and Ceadir-Lunga.
Following the top two contenders, Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria secured third place with 62 votes (6.75%). Other parties recorded subsequent support: GERB-UDF received 49 votes (5.33%), Velichie obtained 45 votes (4.9%), There Is Such a People secured 31 votes (3.37%), and BSP – United Left received 20 votes (2.18%). These figures provide a snapshot of the voting patterns for the Bulgarian political landscape within Moldova, highlighting the strong performance of both Progressive Bulgaria and Vazrazhdane in securing the majority of the recorded votes.
