Centre at Ensana Aquahouse Hotel Develops New Anti-stress Programmes

The spa facility at Ensana Aquahouse Hotel, located in the Sts. Constantine and Helena resort near Varna on the Black Sea, is enhancing its offerings with new anti-stress programmes, according to spa manager Nikolay Popov. These services primarily cater to working individuals seeking mental recuperation, with the goal of mitigating chronic stress levels.

Popov noted that the fast pace of modern life contributes to accumulated mental tension, which, when combined with a lack of physical activity, can contribute to degenerative bodily processes. The spa’s services appeal to all age groups. The manager highlighted that even young professionals undergoing early career development seek anti-stress therapies due to the significant pressure inherent in competitive environments.

The facility develops its programmes using an individualized approach, ensuring guests can maintain practices after their stay concludes. Mineral water is cited for its calming effects, signaling relaxation to the central nervous system, which consequently lowers heart rate and blood pressure. Furthermore, since the end of 2025, Ensana Aquahouse has introduced a specialized underwater kinesitherapy programme.

This is designed to restore function for individuals who have undergone surgery, joint replacement, or those managing neurodegenerative conditions or temporary mobility impairment. Popov explained that a kinesitherapist actively guides and supports the necessary movements during these sessions. In related industry news, BTA features certified spa, wellness, and medical spa centers across Bulgaria in its “BG SPA: Salus per aquam, Health Through Water” feature, representing over 200 establishments.

This initiative is connected to the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, scheduled for May 11–13, 2026, in various Bulgarian locations.
