Centre at Ensana Aquahouse Hotel Develops New Anti-stress Programmes

The spa facility at Ensana Aquahouse Hotel, located in the Sts. Constantine and Helena resort near Varna on the Black Sea, is enhancing its offerings with new anti-stress programmes, according to spa manager Nikolay Popov. These services primarily cater to working individuals seeking mental recovery, with the core goal of reducing chronic stress levels.

Popov noted that the increasingly fast pace of modern life often leads to accumulated mental tension, which, combined with a lack of physical activity, can contribute to degenerative bodily processes. The spa’s services are popular across all age groups. Even young professionals, who face significant pressure in dynamic environments, are seeking out anti-stress therapies.

The manager emphasized that the developed programmes utilize an individualized approach, ensuring guests can maintain their routines even after their stay concludes. Mineral water therapy is highlighted for its ability to reduce tension by signaling relaxation to the central nervous system. This process helps slow the heart rate and decrease blood pressure, offering overall physical and mental benefits.

Furthermore, since late 2025, the Ensana Aquahouse has introduced specialized underwater kinesiotherapy programmes. This therapy is designed to restore physical function for individuals recovering from surgery, joint replacement, or those managing neurodegenerative conditions or temporary mobility loss. These exercises are guided and supported by a kinesiotherapist.
