Rosslyn Dimyat Hotel Varna has inaugurated a renovated thermal zone, according to the hotel’s manager, Vanya Atanasova. The upgrades encompass the replacement of flooring, air conditioning, and ventilation systems, enhancing all available facilities for incoming guests. Atanasova noted a significant rise in demand for wellness services since the pandemic, observing that interest is growing among local Bulgarian residents, not just international visitors.
To accommodate this increased demand for relaxation time before or after work, the center has extended its opening hours to begin at 7 a.m. Consequently, water aerobics classes, led by an instructor, have resumed at 7:30 a.m., attracting numerous local attendees. The hotel’s saunas and fitness areas continue to draw steady patronage, alongside the relaxation area and adventure showers.
While the center also features an ice fountain, its maintenance has presented recent challenges due to limited flake ice generator production. Atanasova emphasized that the growing awareness regarding preventative health is driving interest in wellness care. Furthermore, business travelers are increasingly utilizing spa amenities, particularly when these services are incorporated into their accommodation package.
In a related industry development, BTA highlighted Bulgaria’s robust wellness sector through its “BG SPA: Salus per aquam” feature, cataloging over 200 certified SPA, wellness, and medical SPA centers. This initiative is connected to the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, scheduled for May 11–13, 2026, in Varna, Sts. Constantine and Helena, Golden Sands, and Albena.
