Rosslyn Dimyat Hotel Varna has reopened its renovated thermal zone, according to the hotel’s manager, Vanya Atanasova. Atanasova reported that the facility underwent comprehensive upgrades, including replacements of the flooring, air conditioning, and ventilation systems. She noted a significant rise in demand for wellness services since the pandemic, observing that these treatments are now sought after not only by international visitors but also by a growing number of local Bulgarian guests.
To accommodate this increased interest, the hotel has adjusted its operations. Recognizing the need for relaxation time before or after work, the centre has extended its opening hours to begin at 7 a.m. Furthermore, water aerobics classes, led by an instructor, have resumed, with the first sessions commencing at 7:30 a.m.
The hotel’s saunas and fitness areas continue to attract consistent patronage, alongside the relaxation area and adventure showers. Atanasova highlighted that the growing awareness regarding preventative health is driving this interest in wellness. Even business travelers are utilizing spa services more frequently, especially when these amenities are included in their stay.
The dimyat facility also features an ice fountain, although its maintenance has presented challenges recently. This focus on health aligns with broader industry trends, as highlighted by BTA’s “BG SPA: Salus per aquam” feature, which documents over 200 certified SPA and wellness centers across Bulgaria. This initiative is connected to Europe’s major health tourism event, the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, scheduled for May 2026 in Varna, Sts.
Constantine and Helena, Golden Sands, and Albena.
