Dimyat Hotel Varna Welcomes Guests with Fully Renovated Thermal Zone

The Rosslyn Dimyat Hotel Varna has reopened its thermal zone following a comprehensive renovation, according to the hotel’s manager, Vanya Atanasova. The upgrades included replacements of the flooring, air conditioning, and ventilation systems across the facility. Atanasova noted a significant increase in demand for wellness services, which is now attracting not only international visitors but also a growing number of Bulgarian guests.

In response to this heightened local interest, the center has extended its opening hours to begin at 7 a.m. Furthermore, water aerobics classes, led by an instructor, have resumed, with the first sessions commencing at 7:30 a.m., drawing numerous local attendees before their workday begins. The hotel’s saunas and fitness amenities continue to see consistent use, alongside the relaxation area and adventure showers.

Atanasova emphasized that this growing interest reflects a heightened public awareness regarding preventative healthcare. She also noted that business travelers are increasingly utilizing spa services, often as part of their accommodation package. The facility also features an ice fountain, though its maintenance has presented recent challenges due to limited flake ice generator production.

Complementing these local developments, BTA highlights Bulgaria’s robust wellness sector through its “BG SPA: Salus per aquam, Health Through Water” feature, which covers over 200 certified SPA, wellness, and medical SPA centers. This initiative is linked to Europe’s major health tourism event, the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, scheduled for May 11–13, 2026, in Varna, among other locations.
