Dimyat Hotel Varna Welcomes Guests with Fully Renovated Thermal Zone

Rosslyn Dimyat Hotel Varna has reopened its thermal zone following renovations, according to the hotel’s manager, Vanya Atanasova, speaking to BTA. The upgrades included replacing the flooring, air conditioning, and ventilation systems, resulting in enhanced facilities for all guests. Atanasova noted a significant rise in demand for wellness services since the pandemic.

She observed that interest in these treatments is no longer limited to international visitors but is increasingly popular among Bulgarian guests. Many individuals now incorporate relaxation time before or after work, prompting the center to extend its opening hours to begin at 7:00 a.m. In response to high demand, water aerobics classes, instructed by a professional, have resumed.

The initial sessions commence at 7:30 a.m., attracting many local residents before their workday. The hotel’s saunas and fitness areas continue to draw consistent patronage, while the relaxation area and adventure showers remain popular amenities. The center also features an ice fountain, whose maintenance has presented difficulties recently due to reduced production of flake ice generators.

Atanasova highlighted that the growing awareness of health is driving increased interest in preventive care and wellness. Furthermore, business travelers are utilizing spa services more actively, particularly when these services are included in their hotel stay. BTA reports on certified SPA, wellness, and medical SPA centers across Bulgaria through its “BG SPA: Salus per aquam, Health Through Water” feature, which covers over 200 establishments.

This initiative is connected to Europe’s leading health tourism event, the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, scheduled for May 11–13, 2026, in Varna, Sts. Constantine and Helena, Golden Sands, and Albena.
