Dimyat Hotel Varna Welcomes Guests with Fully Renovated Thermal Zone

Rosslyn Dimyat Hotel Varna has reopened its renovated thermal zone, according to the hotel’s manager, Vanya Atanasova. She confirmed that the upgrades included replacing the flooring, air conditioning, and ventilation systems across the facility. Atanasova noted a significant increase in demand for wellness services since the pandemic, attracting both foreign and local Bulgarian guests.

To meet this growing interest, the centre has extended its opening hours to start at 7:00 a.m. Consequently, water aerobics classes, led by an instructor, have resumed, with the initial sessions starting at 7:30 a.m. These early morning sessions are reportedly attended by numerous local residents.

The hotel’s saunas and fitness areas continue to draw consistent patronage, while the relaxation area and adventure showers remain popular amenities for the guests. Atanasova highlighted that the increased focus on health awareness is driving greater interest in preventive care and wellness services. Furthermore, business travelers are utilizing spa services more frequently, particularly when these amenities are incorporated into the accommodation package.

The broader industry context was also mentioned, with BTA featuring news on certified SPA, wellness, and medical SPA centres across Bulgaria in its “BG SPA: Salus per aquam, Health Through Water” segment. This initiative, a collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and the Bulgarian Union of Balneology and SPA Tourism, is connected to the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, scheduled for May 11–13, 2026, in Varna, Sts. Constantine and Helena, Golden Sands, and Albena.

The Rosslyn Dimyat Hotel continues to position itself as a key destination for wellness tourism.
