Election Commission: With 60.79% of Tally Sheets Processed, Progressive Bulgaria Leads with 44.6%, Second Is CC-DB with 14.3%

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has released interim results concerning the parliamentary election that took place on April 19. As of 6:00 am on Monday, the Commission announced preliminary figures based on the analysis of 60.79% of the total tally sheets collected. This release provides an initial assessment of the vote distribution across the various political entities.

The CEC operates under strict guidelines set forth by the Election Code. This legislation dictates specific timelines for the finalization of results. The Commission is obligated to announce the precise number of votes received and the subsequent distribution of parliamentary seats among all parties and coalitions no later than four days following the election day.
