Prices in Bulgaria Rise by Between 1% and 12% in April

Fuel prices in Bulgaria continued to increase throughout April, according to data compiled by the Sofia-based platform Fuelo. The most notable percentage increases were observed in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and diesel fuel. For gasoline, the widely used A95 grade saw an increase of EUR 0.03 per litre, representing a 2.04% rise.

Its price moved from EUR 1.47/l on April 1 to the current rate of EUR 1.50, indicating a trend toward stabilization. Premium A98 petrol also showed an upward trend, increasing by EUR 0.02/l, or 1.18%, over the month, moving from EUR 1.69/l at the start of April to EUR 1.71/l. Diesel fuel experienced a more substantial rise, increasing by EUR 0.11/l, or 6.55%.

Its price rose from EUR 1.68 to EUR 1.79 during April. LPG recorded the largest percentage increase in April, rising by EUR 0.09/l, or 12.33%. Its price increased from EUR 0.73 on April 1 to EUR 0.82 currently.

Furthermore, the cost of methane (compressed natural gas) also saw an uptick, rising by EUR 0.06 per kilogramme, or 5.26%. Its price increased from EUR 1.15/kg at the beginning of the month to EUR 1.20/kg by April 30. These figures detail the movements in fuel prices across several key grades during the month of April.
