Tsolov’s maneuver into Turn 16 appeared to yield the lead to van Hoepen, but Tsolov remained close throughout the race. By Lap 10, van Hoepen managed to take the first position. For the next several laps, Tsolov and van Hoepen engaged in a sustained fight for the lead, exchanging the top spot with seven laps remaining.
The duel between Tsolov and van Hoepen persisted until the final lap. The pair exchanged the lead again on the concluding lap, with Tsolov ultimately retaking the advantage on the final straight to claim the victory. This marked Tsolov’s first F2 win in the United States, achieved with a margin of 0.170 seconds.
Alex Dunne, driving for Rodin Motorsport, joined the fight for first place toward the end of the event but ultimately finished in third position.
