The 41st Flora Burgas flower exhibition is scheduled to commence on May 1. According to Flora Exhibition Centre Manager Miroslava Argirova, the annual event will be themed around the Giro d’Italia 2026 cycling tour. Argirova also noted an increase in the scale of the event, stating that the number of traditional art installations prepared for this year’s exhibition will be double that of previous years.
She confirmed that the exhibition anticipates participation from over 100 entities within the country, which includes various flower distributors and suppliers of garden equipment. Reflecting the spirit of the cycling tour, the floral displays at this year’s flora exhibition will focus on themes associated with an active lifestyle, movement, and cycling. The event’s programming mirrors the first stage of the Giro d’Italia, which is set to run from Nessebar to Burgas on May 8.
Argirova added that the trade areas within the exhibition will showcase thousands of various plants. The 41st Flora Burgas event aims to integrate horticultural displays with the theme of athletic activity, providing a comprehensive showcase for the local and national floral industry.
