41st Flora Burgas Exhibition to Open on May 1 Dedicated to Giro d’Italia

The 41st Flora Burgas flower exhibition is scheduled to open on May 1, with its central theme dedicated to the Giro d’Italia 2026. According to Miroslava Argirova, Manager of the Flora Exhibition Centre, the event will feature a significant expansion in its artistic components. Argirova confirmed that the number of traditional art installations prepared for this year’s flora showcase will be doubled compared to previous years.

The scale of participation is also expected to increase, with organizers confirming participation from over 100 national entities, which include major distributors of both flowers and gardening equipment. In alignment with the spirit of the major cycling tour, the exhibition will curate specialized compositions designed to reflect an active lifestyle, movement, and cycling culture. Argirova noted that thousands of plant varieties will be displayed across the dedicated trade areas.

This thematic focus directly correlates with the regional cycling itinerary, as the first stage of the Giro d’Italia is set to commence in Nessebar and conclude in Burgas on May 8. The event aims to merge the beauty of horticultural displays with the energy associated with athletic endeavors, drawing attention to the region’s connection to both natural growth and physical activity.
