The 41st Flora Burgas flower exhibition is scheduled to open on May 1. According to Miroslava Argirova, Manager of the Flora Exhibition Centre, the event will be themed around the Giro d’Italia 2026 cycling tour. Argirova announced that the preparations for this year’s flora event include a significant increase in artistic displays, noting that the number of traditional art installations prepared for the exhibition will be double that of previous years.
She confirmed robust participation, stating that the event expects over 100 national participants, encompassing distributors of both flowers and garden equipment. In alignment with the spirit of the cycling tour, the flora showcase will feature compositions specifically designed to reflect an active lifestyle, movement, and cycling culture. Argirova added that thousands of various plants will be displayed across the trade areas, complementing the theme.
The timing of the exhibition coincides with the initial stages of the Giro d’Italia. The first stage of the race is set to begin in Nessebar and conclude in Burgas on May 8. This thematic connection ensures the exhibition provides a comprehensive celebration of both horticulture and athletic endeavor.
Miroslava Argirova remains the central point of information regarding the event’s scope, confirming the centre’s dedication to hosting a large-scale gathering for the industry. The planned focus on vitality and movement solidifies the flora exhibition’s role as a major regional event leading up to the national sporting fixture.
