These suppliers are responsible for delivering critical components while maintaining the high standards of quality, efficiency, and reliability expected by the German group. Beyond direct material supply, Liebherr Hausgerate Marica collaborates with numerous Bulgarian entities in various service sectors. These partnerships encompass logistics, personnel transportation, recruitment, energy provision, information technology, waste recycling, and catering.
The combined turnover from these service agreements is projected to approach EUR 20 million by 2025. The German industrial group reports that the role of Bulgarian suppliers is increasingly vital to the development of production capabilities. This cooperation yields several benefits, including enhanced manufacturing competitiveness, the establishment of sustainable employment opportunities, and the advancement of technological capacity within Bulgarian businesses.
Further underscoring the commitment to the region’s economic growth, Liebherr recently executed a significant EUR 90 million investment in a new production and warehousing facility located in the Trakia Economic Zone.
