The modern spa facilities include an indoor swimming pool, a children’s pool, and three aquatonic pools. According to Desislava Dzhurova, sales and reservations manager, these amenities enhance the hotel’s appeal to event organizers. The spa offers a comprehensive range of services, including classic and aroma steam baths, infrared, Finnish, and Himalayan cedar saunas, a hammam, a salt room, a spa capsule, and a salt and flotation capsule.
Further amenities include an adventure shower, a Vichy shower, a hydromassage bathtub, five treatment rooms, a relaxation zone with heated loungers, a beach area, and a fresh bar with a panoramic terrace. The pool water is mineralized with salts and purified with ozone filters, ensuring the aquatonic area is gentle on the skin. Another notable feature is the flotation capsule, which contains a high concentration of magnesium salts for deep relaxation and skin absorption, beneficial for muscle and joint relief, as noted by the spa centre manager, Nedko Nikolov.
Furthermore, due to its central location on the banks of the Yantra River in Tarnovo, the hotel has an approved project to develop a pedestrian riverside zone, an outdoor infinity pool, and an updated daytime bar overlooking the Asenevtsi Monument and the Art Gallery. BTA is currently featuring certified spa, wellness, and medical spa centres across Bulgaria in its “BG SPA: Salus per aquam, Health Through Water” feature, which includes over 200 facilities.
