This agreement is expected to define coalition management bodies, decision-making protocols, parliamentary group guidelines, candidate nomination criteria, and a unified personnel policy.
Furthermore, it seeks to eliminate existing party quotas in future elections. A significant focus of the decision is the drafting of a “roadmap for the creation of a unified democratic centre-right political entity,” which involves the current coalition members and potential external participants within Bulgaria. Beyond the governing structure, the National Council has instructed the party’s Executive Council to prepare for the upcoming presidential elections, working toward securing support for a common democratic centre-right candidate.
The decision also outlines specific policy priorities for Members of Parliament elected under the “Yes, Bulgaria” quota in the new parliament. These priorities include maintaining an opposition stance against the excessive concentration of power, proposing right-wing fiscal measures for the state budget, and introducing a new Judiciary Act with updated selection criteria for the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC). Additional legislative goals involve advancing anti-corruption measures previously advocated by the party, calling for the removal of state security protection for prominent figures, and implementing healthcare reforms.
These healthcare measures include mandating public tenders for medicines in private hospitals and introducing SMS notifications for health services.
