Football Union Head Georgi Ivanov and Hristo Stoichkov Take Part in FIFA Tournament before Organization’s Congress

Bulgarian Football Union President Georgi Ivanov took part in a legends game tournament organized by FIFA in Vancouver, Canada, preceding the 76th Congress of the governing body. Ivanov was featured as a member of the European football governing body’s team, which comprised several prominent figures in world soccer, including David Trezeguet, Andriy Shevchenko, Goran Pandev, Davor Suker, and Michel Salgado. The UEFA team advanced to the semifinals before losing to the Canadian squad, which included Hristo Stoichkov and Demetrio Albertini.
