Bulgaria Wins Most Votes in Greece Voting Sections, Preliminary Results Show

Progressive Bulgaria secured the highest number of votes among Bulgarian political parties during the recent snap parliamentary elections held in Greece. Data published by the Central Election Commission, reflecting results from 95.74% of processed tally sheets as of 8:00 AM on Monday, indicates that 2,061 Bulgarian citizens in Greece cast their votes for Progressive Bulgaria. According to the reported figures, the Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria coalition received the second-highest total with 889 votes.

GERB-UDF followed with 404 votes, while Velichie garnered 344 votes. Other parties recorded votes including Vazrazhdane with 293 votes, MECh with 285 votes, Siyanie with 102 votes, and BSP – United Left with 68 votes. In total, 53 voters opted for the “I do not support anyone” option.

These statistics provide a snapshot of the voting patterns among the Bulgarian diaspora in Greece. The results detail the distribution of votes cast for various political entities in Bulgaria by expatriates residing in Greece.
