Lucky Bansko Aparthotel SPA & Relax recently received two awards for 2026 in the category of retreat tourism, according to the resort. The accolades were presented at the Spring Travel Soare forum, organized by Travel & LifeStyle Magazine with support from the Tourism Ministry. The awards recognized the property by placing it in the top 50 best retreat destinations and awarding it first place for the best retreat destination in Bulgaria for 2026.
The resort’s spa center is designed as a next-generation facility focusing on holistic recovery and personalized guest care, stated Assoc. Prof. Asya Pandzherova, executive director.
Detox programs offered at the spa include hydro-massage baths with therapeutic extracts, hammam rituals, Rasul therapies using mineral mud and clay, and water bed applications with healing ingredients. The water zone features bio-pools with underwater music, a pool with Dead Sea salts, a jacuzzi, and hydro-massage facilities, with two outdoor pools available during the summer season. For wellness treatments, the thermal zone provides access to a Finnish and infrared sauna, a steam bath, and a salt room for halotherapy.
An innovative offering is the cryosauna, which exposes the body to temperatures as low as minus 160 degrees Celsius to stimulate recovery and boost vitality. Detox programs also incorporate hydrocolon therapy administered by medical specialists. The spa offers a range of facial and body treatments, from aromatherapy to anti-aging regimens.
The facility also provides specialized treatments for children, including a heated pool purified via ultrasound and electrolysis. The comprehensive weight loss, detox, and anti-stress program at the spa is noted as a key competitive advantage for the resort in Bansko.
