Bansko Aparthotel SPA & Relax Wins Two Retreat Tourism Awards in April

Lucky Bansko Aparthotel SPA & Relax recently received two awards for 2026 in the category of retreat tourism, according to the resort. These accolades, presented at the Spring Travel Soare forum—organized by Travel & LifeStyle Magazine with support from the Tourism Ministry—included recognition among the top 50 best retreat destinations and the designation of Best Retreat Destination in Bulgaria for 2026. The hotel’s spa centre is designed as a next-generation facility focused on holistic recovery and personalized guest care.

The resort offers comprehensive detox programs featuring treatments such as hydro-massage baths with therapeutic extracts, traditional hammam rituals, and Rasul therapies utilizing mineral mud and clay. The facility’s amenities include a diverse water zone equipped with bio-pools featuring underwater music, a Dead Sea salt pool, a jacuzzi, and hydro-massage facilities. Guests can also utilize the thermal zone, which provides access to a Finnish and infrared sauna, a steam bath, and a salt room for halotherapy.

A notable feature is the cryosauna, which subjects the body to temperatures as low as minus 160 degrees Celsius to stimulate recovery. Beyond these amenities, the spa provides hydrocolon therapy administered by medical specialists, alongside a range of facial and body treatments, from aromatherapy to anti-aging programs. For younger visitors, specialized treatments are available in a heated pool purified through ultrasound and electrolysis.
