In the parliamentary elections held in Moldova on April 19, the results for Bulgarian citizens were tallied across ten designated voting sections. These sections were established in various Moldovan locations, including Chisinau, Taraclia, and Ceadir-Lunga. According to data from the section commissions, a total of 1,015 Bulgarian citizens cast their votes.
Based on 92.70% of the processed tally sheets, Progressive Bulgaria and Vazrazhdane emerged as the two leading parties among the candidates representing Bulgaria. Progressive Bulgaria secured the highest number of votes, receiving 344 votes, representing 37.43% of the total. Vazrazhdane followed closely behind, accumulating 327 votes, which accounted for 35.58% of the ballots.
The remaining votes were distributed among several other political groups. Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria garnered 62 votes (6.75%), placing third. GERB-UDF received 49 votes (5.33%), while Velichie obtained 45 votes (4.9%).
Further votes were cast for There Is Such a People with 31 votes (3.37%), and BSP – United Left received 20 votes (2.18%). The distribution of these votes highlights the participation of the Bulgarian diaspora in the electoral process within Moldova.
