Bulgaria and Vazrazhdane Lead Vote Count in Moldova Based on 92.70% of Tally Sheets

In the parliamentary elections held on April 19 in Moldova, Progressive Bulgaria and Vazrazhdane secured the highest number of votes among Bulgarian citizens, according to preliminary data from 92.70% of processed tally sheets from section election commissions. Progressive Bulgaria emerged as the leading party, collecting 344 votes, which represented 37.43% of the total votes cast. Vazrazhdane followed closely, garnering 327 votes, or 35.58%.

The election saw a total turnout of 1,015 Bulgarian citizens across ten designated voting sections in Moldova. These sections were established in locations including Chisinau, Taraclia, Varnita, and others. Following the top two contenders, Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria placed third with 62 votes (6.75%).

GERB-UDF received 49 votes (5.33%), while Velichie obtained 45 votes (4.9%). Smaller parties also participated, with There Is Such a People receiving 31 votes (3.37%) and BSP – United Left securing 20 votes (2.18%). The results provide a detailed snapshot of the political sentiment among the Bulgarian diaspora in Moldova.

The data reflects the distribution of votes cast for various political entities representing the interests of Bulgaria.
