Bulgaria Wins Most Votes in Greece Voting Sections, Preliminary Results Show

Progressive Bulgaria secured the highest number of votes among political parties at the Bulgarian snap parliamentary elections held in Greece, according to data from the Central Election Commission. As of 8:00 AM on Monday, preliminary reports processed from 95.74% of the tally sheets indicated that 2,061 Bulgarian citizens in Greece cast their votes for Progressive Bulgaria. The election results show a clear ranking among the participating groups.

The Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria coalition garnered the second-highest total with 889 votes. GERB-UDF received 404 votes, followed by Velichie with 344 votes. Other parties recorded significant support, including Vazrazhdane with 293 votes, MECh with 285 votes, and Siyanie with 102 votes.

BSP – United Left received 68 votes. Furthermore, 53 voters indicated that they did not support any listed candidate or party. These figures provide a snapshot of the political sentiment among the Bulgarian diaspora in Greece.
