Progressive Bulgaria secured the highest number of votes among Bulgarian political parties in the recent snap parliamentary elections held in Greece, according to data from the Central Election Commission. As of 8:00 AM on Monday, the commission reported results from 95.74% of the processed tally sheets. The data indicates that 2,061 Bulgarian citizens in Greece cast their votes for Progressive Bulgaria.
The second-place finisher was the Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria coalition, which received 889 votes. GERB-UDF garnered 404 votes, followed by Velichie with 344 votes. Other parties that received recorded votes include Vazrazhdane with 293 votes, MECh with 285 votes, and Siyanie with 102 votes.
BSP – United Left received 68 votes. Furthermore, a total of 53 voters opted for the “I do not support anyone” option. These figures reflect the voting patterns among the Bulgarian diaspora community participating in the election process in Greece.
