Bulgaria Wins Most Votes in Greece Voting Sections, Preliminary Results Show

Progressive Bulgaria secured the highest number of votes among Bulgarian political parties during the recent snap parliamentary elections held in Greece. According to data published on the Central Election Commission’s website, Progressive Bulgaria received the most votes based on 95.74% of the processed tally sheets as of 8:00 AM on Monday morning. The election results in Greece detailed the voting patterns of the Bulgarian diaspora.

Specifically, 2,061 Bulgarian citizens in Greece cast their votes for Progressive Bulgaria. The data provided a clear ranking of support across the major political groups. The second-place position was held by the Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria coalition, which garnered 889 votes.

Following this, GERB-UDF received 404 votes. Further support was recorded for Velichie with 344 votes, Vazrazhdane with 293 votes, and MECh with 285 votes. Other parties that received recorded votes included Siyanie with 102 votes and BSP – United Left with 68 votes.

In addition to partisan support, 53 voters selected the option indicating they did not support any candidate or party. These figures provide a snapshot of the political sentiment among the Bulgarian community residing in Greece.
