The Central Election Commission (CEC) announced the decisions of fourteen candidates who were elected in two separate multi-member constituencies (MMCs) regarding their placement in the 52nd National Assembly. The declarations were made during a CEC meeting on Friday, following earlier reports that detailed the distribution of seats among political parties. The CEC confirmed that the list of individuals making these choices expanded to fourteen, including Katya Paneva, after a list leader finalized their choice of constituency.
These candidates must formally declare which of the two MMCs they will represent. Specific movements detailed include Alexander Georgiev Pulev choosing MMC 27 – Stara Zagora over MMC 30 – Shumen, and Ivan Petev Demerdzhiev opting for MMC 9 – Kardzhali instead of MMC 24 – Sofia. Other candidates making declared changes include Rumen Georgiev Radev moving from MMC 2 to MMC 25 – Sofia, and Boyko Metodiev Borissov from MMC 25 – Sofia to MMC 16 – Plovdiv.
Further shifts involve Delyan Aleksandrov Dobrev moving from MMC 29 – Haskovo to MMC 24 – Sofia, and Tomislav Peykov Donchev from MMC 23 – Sofia to MMC 7 – Gabrovo. Other notable changes involve Asen Vaskov Vassilev (MMC 16 over MMC 29), Nikolay Denkov Denkov (MMC 1 over MMC 23), and Katya Maksimova Paneva (MMC 25 over MMC 29). The group also includes Delyan Slavchev Peevski (MMC 9 over MMC 1), Dimitar Ivanov Avramov (MMC 15 over MMC 12), Halil Redzhepov Letifov (MMC 22 over MMC 18), Kostadin Todorov Kostadinov (MMC 25 over MMC 3), and Tsoncho Tomov Ganev (MMC 23 over MMC 2).
