Dimyat Hotel Varna Welcomes Guests with Fully Renovated Thermal Zone

Rosslyn Dimyat Hotel Varna has reopened its thermal zone following a comprehensive renovation, according to the hotel’s manager, Vanya Atanasova. The upgrades included replacing the flooring, air conditioning, and ventilation systems across all facilities. Atanasova noted a significant rise in demand for wellness services, which now appeals not only to foreign visitors but also increasingly to local Bulgarian residents.

To accommodate this heightened interest, the centre has extended its opening hours, now starting at 7:00 a.m. Furthermore, due to high local participation, water aerobics classes have resumed, with initial sessions beginning at 7:30 a.m. The hotel’s saunas and fitness facilities continue to attract consistent numbers of visitors, while the relaxation area and adventure showers remain popular amenities for the guests.

Atanasova attributed the growing utilization of spa services to a broader societal awareness regarding preventive health care. She also pointed out that business travelers are increasingly integrating spa treatments into their stays, especially when services are included in the accommodation price. In a related industry context, BTA highlights Bulgaria’s commitment to health tourism through its “BG SPA: Salus per aquam, Health Through Water” feature, which covers over 200 certified SPA, wellness, and medical SPA centres across the country.

This initiative is linked to Europe’s major health tourism event, the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, scheduled for May 11–13, 2026, in various locations, including Varna. The reopening of the dimyat facility underscores the growing importance of wellness experiences within the luxury hotel sector for all guests.
