Dimyat Hotel Varna Welcomes Guests with Fully Renovated Thermal Zone

Rosslyn Dimyat Hotel Varna has reopened its thermal zone following a renovation, according to the hotel’s manager, Vanya Atanasova. The upgrades included replacements of the flooring, air conditioning, and ventilation systems across all facilities. Atanasova noted a significant increase in demand for wellness services since the pandemic, observing that interest is now growing among Bulgarian residents, not exclusively foreign visitors.

In response to this heightened local interest, the center has extended its operating hours to begin at 7 a.m. Water aerobics classes have resumed at 7:30 a.m., drawing many local residents before work. The hotel’s saunas, fitness facilities, and relaxation areas continue to attract numerous guests.

While the center also features an ice fountain, its maintenance has become challenging due to limited production of flake ice generators. Atanasova highlighted that the rising focus on preventive care and overall well-being is driving this increased interest in wellness. Furthermore, business travelers are increasingly utilizing spa services, particularly when these amenities are included in their accommodation package.

BTA is currently promoting the broader industry through its “BG SPA: Salus per aquam, Health Through Water” feature, which covers over 200 certified SPA, wellness, and medical SPA centers across Bulgaria. This initiative is linked to the major health tourism event, the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, scheduled for May 11–13, 2026, in Varna and other locations. BTA will serve as the event’s main media partner.
