Dimyat Hotel Varna Welcomes Guests with Fully Renovated Thermal Zone

Rosslyn Dimyat Hotel Varna has reopened its renovated thermal zone, according to the hotel’s manager, Vanya Atanasova, speaking to BTA. The upgrades included replacing the flooring, air conditioning, and ventilation systems across the facility. Atanasova noted a significant increase in demand for wellness services since the pandemic, an interest now seen among both foreign and local Bulgarian guests.

In response to high demand, the thermal zone has extended its opening hours to begin at 7 a.m. Water aerobics classes, led by an instructor, have also resumed, with the initial sessions starting at 7:30 a.m., attracting many local residents before work. The hotel’s saunas and fitness facilities continue to draw consistent patronage, alongside the relaxation area and adventure showers.

Atanasova highlighted a growing public awareness regarding preventative health, which drives interest in wellness treatments. This trend is also visible among business travelers, who are increasingly utilizing spa services, particularly when they are included in the accommodation package at the hotel. The facility also features an ice fountain, though its maintenance has become difficult due to limited flake ice generator production.

BTA reported on the broader trend, featuring news from over 200 certified SPA, wellness, and medical SPA centres across Bulgaria in its “BG SPA: Salus per aquam, Health Through Water” feature. This initiative is connected to the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, scheduled for May 11–13, 2026, in Varna, among other locations.
