Dimyat Hotel Varna Welcomes Guests with Fully Renovated Thermal Zone

The Rosslyn Dimyat Hotel Varna has reopened its renovated thermal zone, according to the hotel’s manager, Vanya Atanasova. She reported that the facility underwent comprehensive upgrades, including the replacement of flooring, air conditioning, and ventilation systems. Atanasova noted a significant rise in demand for wellness services, a trend that has broadened beyond foreign visitors to include a growing base of local Bulgarian guests.

Reflecting this increased interest, the hotel has adjusted its operations, extending opening hours to begin at 7 a.m. Furthermore, water aerobics classes have resumed, with the first sessions starting at 7:30 a.m., drawing many local residents before their workday. The hotel’s saunas, fitness amenities, and relaxation areas continue to attract a steady number of guests.

Atanasova emphasized that the rising focus on preventive care is driving this interest in wellness. She added that business travelers are increasingly utilizing spa services, often as an amenity included with their accommodation stay. While the center features various amenities, including an ice fountain, maintenance for this feature has become challenging due to limited local production of flake ice generators.

In parallel developments, BTA highlights the broader health tourism sector in Bulgaria through its “BG SPA: Salus per aquam” feature, which covers over 200 certified SPA, wellness, and medical centers. This initiative is linked to Europe’s major health tourism event, the HEALTHXCHANGE SUMMIT, scheduled for May 11 to 13, 2026, in various locations including Varna.
