The Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) and the Bulgarian Employers’ Association Innovative Technologies (BRAIT) have formalized a long-term cooperation agreement designed to enhance collaboration across information sharing, innovation, and media development. The signing ceremony, held in Sofia, featured BTA Director General Kirill Valchev and BRAIT Chair Iliya Krastev. Under the terms of the agreement, BRAIT will provide substantial support to BTA’s new, AI-focused venture, the “BTA Institute.” This initiative is specifically aimed at integrating artificial intelligence tools and methodologies into the daily operations of the newsroom.
Furthermore, the partnership extends to advisory roles, with BRAIT offering counsel on BTA’s “World of News – Sofia” renovation project and assisting with public procurement procedures. This strategic alliance represents a significant component of BTA’s broader strategy to strengthen its connections with key industry groups. By deepening these ties, BTA aims to improve the circulation of verified, high-quality multimedia content to the wider Bulgarian media landscape.
The collaboration underscores a commitment to leveraging innovative technologies and expertise to modernize news production. Through the combined efforts of bta and brait, the goal is to establish a more robust and technologically advanced framework for media content dissemination within Bulgaria.
