The prosecution service released a report detailing the observance of the law and the activities of the prosecution and investigation authorities for 2025. The document indicates that the previous year saw a general downward trend across most types of criminal offences. Furthermore, the report noted an increase in both the clearance rate and the volume of prosecutorial case files when compared to 2024 and 2023.

In 2025, 80,884 offenses were recorded, fewer than the 86,049 in 2024 and 84,225 in 2023. Property offenses remained the largest category, followed by public endangerment and economic offenses. However, activities involving narcotic drugs and precursors, alongside domestic violence, showed consistent increases over the last three years, with 7,503 drug-related offenses recorded in 2025.
