Killed, 14 Injured in Drone Attack in Odesa

Two individuals were killed, and fourteen others were injured following an overnight drone attack targeting the Black Sea city of Odesa in Southern Ukraine, according to Oleh Kiper, Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration. Rescuers from the State Emergency Service evacuated 36 residents, including two children, from the immediate area following the incident. The consequences of the Russian attack on Odesa included significant damage to residential areas.

Reports indicate that at least three residential buildings sustained major damage, with facades destroyed and windows shattered. Additionally, a merchant vessel flying the flag of Saint Kitts and Nevis, which was en route to one of the ports in Greater Odesa, was also affected. While a fire broke out on the ship, crew members were able to extinguish it quickly, and there were no reported casualties from the vessel.

Authorities confirmed that relevant services are currently working to manage the aftermath of the overnight attack.
