The Central Election Commission announced on Friday evening the results of the general elections, confirming the names of the 240 members of parliament (mps) elected to Bulgaria’s 52nd National Assembly following the vote held on April 19. The final allocation of seats indicates that Progressive Bulgaria secured the largest contingent with 131 mps. GERB-UDF was awarded 39 seats, followed by Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria, which received 37 mps.

The Movement for Rights and Freedoms was allocated 21 mps, and Vazrazhdane was granted 12 seats. The official tally confirms the distribution of the 240 elected representatives across the five major political formations. The commission provided a detailed breakdown of the newly elected mps by multi-member constituency and associated political party.

While the full list of all newly elected individuals is extensive, the announcement confirmed the successful election of these 240 mps who will form the composition of the Bulgarian legislature. The commission noted that the official English spelling for all names is pending release on the National Assembly website. The results provide a clear mandate structure for the incoming parliament in Bulgaria.
