The development of a new Terminal 3 at Vasil Levski Sofia Airport represents one of the most significant infrastructure investments planned for Bulgaria in the coming years. It will integrate with the existing Terminal 2 and is projected to handle up to 20 million passengers annually. In procedural updates, SOF Connect announced the commencement of the pre-qualification stage for the tender process in November 2025. This tender covers the design and construction of the new Terminal 3, the associated forecourt area, a dedicated transport center, and the modernization of the existing Terminal 2 facilities.
