The local press center released details regarding the celebratory programme, which is scheduled to begin the day before. On May 7, festivities will commence with a bazaar set up in Mesambria Square.
Additionally, an amateur cycling tour is planned for the morning, starting at 10 a.m. The evening schedule promises cultural entertainment, featuring a performance by local groups at the Yana Laskova National Community Centre. The festivities will continue with concerts headlined by the trio VIVA and the rock group B.T.R., staged in front of the Old Town fortress walls.
Following the musical performances, the municipality has organized a fireworks display. The following day, May 8, coinciding with the start of the Giro d’Italia, the local government will host a cross-country race that will follow the official race route. These planned activities aim to engage residents and visitors in the build-up to the major cycling event.
