The 52nd National Assembly’s structure was detailed on Thursday during the inaugural sitting, with Parliament Chair Mihaela Dotsova announcing the composition and leaders of six distinct parliamentary groups. The announced groups and their respective floor leaders are as follows:

* Progressive Bulgaria: Floor Leader Petar Vitanov, with Deputy Floor Leaders Galin Durev, Vladimir Nikolov, Slavi Vassilev, and Olga Borisova. * GERB-UDF: Floor Leader Boyko Borissov, supported by Deputy Floor Leaders Denitsa Sacheva, Kostadin Angelov, and Roumen Hristov.

* Movement for Rights and Freedoms: Floor Leader Delyan Peevski, alongside Deputy Floor Leaders Ayten Sabri, Halil Letifov, Hamid Hamid, and Iskra Mihaylova-Koparova. * Democratic Bulgaria: Floor Leader Nadejda Iordanova, with Deputy Floor Leaders Bozhidar Bozhanov and Katya Paneva. * Continue the Change: Floor Leader Nikolay Denkov, and Deputy Floor Leaders Ivaylo Shotev and Tatyana Sultanova-Siveva.

* Vazrazhdane: Floor Leader Kostadin Kostadinov, and Deputy Floor Leader Peter Petrov. Notably, following their participation in the recent elections as a coalition, the groups Continue the Change (CC) and Democratic Bulgaria (DB) made a decision on Wednesday to separate into two distinct parliamentary groups. The leadership of Democratic Bulgaria characterized this split as “a serious political mistake.” In response, Continue the Change extended an invitation to the DB leadership to sign an agreement for establishing a joint parliamentary alliance under the banner of “Strong Bulgaria in a Strong Europe.”
