Eastern therapies and traditional hammam rituals are generating significant interest among guests at Astor Garden Hotel, according to SPA Manager Nikolay Popov. Speaking from the Sts Constantine and Helena seaside resort near Varna, Popov noted that the hotel is affiliated with the Aqua House Thermal & Beach complex, which continually updates its services to enhance the visitor experience. He stated that modern guests seek variety, and the hospitality sector is responding to these evolving expectations by offering opportunities for both physical and mental well-being.
The complex provides a diverse range of amenities, including various pools suitable for lap swimming, alongside tailored wellness packages and beauty therapies. Popov also advised that massage programs require careful consideration for clients who have undergone cosmetic or invasive procedures. In such cases, high humidity and steam, characteristic of hammam rituals, should be avoided.
While traditional massages are cautioned, certain Chinese medicine approaches may remain appropriate. Aromatherapy is noted for its rapid effect on the body and is frequently combined with other treatments. Furthermore, while mud therapy is available, management is exploring the introduction of algae-based treatments due to the natural health benefits of seaweed.
